Privacy policy
Effective 2026-09-21. This policy covers the English Life Scenes iOS/iPadOS app and this support website. Developer: Yujie Shen; contact: contact@xue-learn.com.
The app bundles scenes, images, dictionary content and supported audio. No account is required. Study activity, searches, lookups and playback are not sent to the developer. Preferences, saved items and the last scene stay on the device. There is no app-operated cloud sync; system backups depend on your device and iCloud settings.
The app does not record audio or request microphone, camera, contacts or location access. It includes no advertising, analytics or cross-app tracking. Audio is prepared before distribution; learning does not use cloud speech synthesis. Apple handles App Store purchases and its own account, backup and optional diagnostics services under its policies and your settings. The app receives no payment card information.
If you voluntarily email support, the developer and email service process your sender address, message and optional attachments to respond and resolve the request. Messages are retained only as needed for resolution, necessary follow-up or legal obligations. Contact the email above to request access, correction or deletion.
This website uses Tencent Cloud hosting and content delivery. Network services may process IP addresses, request paths, timestamps and browser information to deliver and secure pages, with retention according to service configuration and applicable requirements. The site includes no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. Visiting it does not upload study records from the app.
Reset local learning data in Settings or delete the app. Offloading may keep data; manage system backups separately. Support data is not sold or used for advertising. The app is designed for adult English learners. Policy changes will appear here with an updated date and, where appropriate, in the app.
